This page explains what is stored on your device when you visit this website, what it is for and how to change your mind.

The short version

Nothing from Google Analytics is stored on your device unless you accept it in the cookie banner. If you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and nothing identifies you. We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept

Accepting loads Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics. They set cookies whose names begin _ga, which count visits and show us which pages people look at, so we can tell what is useful. They typically last up to two years from your last visit, which is Google's setting rather than ours.

We also record when one of our enquiry forms is sent successfully, and which form it was. That record never contains what you typed. We see anonymous visit figures, never your name, number or email address.

Cookies from the reviews and logo displays

The Google reviews and partner logos on some pages are displayed by Elfsight, loaded from Elfsight's servers. When those displays load, Elfsight may set two cookies on its own domain, elfsight.com:

• _cfuvid: set by Cloudflare, which protects Elfsight's service. It is deleted when you close your browser.

• elfsight_viewed_recently: records that the display has been viewed. It lasts less than a day.

Remembering your choice

When you accept or reject, your browser stores that choice (under the name km-consent) so you are not asked on every page. It is not a tracking cookie and is never sent to us. It lasts about 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page to change your choice at any time. If you reject after accepting, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings.
